You may know Adam Carolla as a successful comedian, or the man at the top of a huge podcasting kingdom. Us, we know him as a guy who just really loves cars. And while this five-car sell-off from Carolla's collection might make it look like he's abandoning the hobby, it's all for a very good cause.
Carolla is offering five of his vintage Lamborghinis, including two incredibly rare Miuras, seeking a grand total of more than $4.3 million from the sale. Why the sell-off? Carolla's rolling the money into the purchase of Paul Newman's Le Mans-winning Porsche 935, a gorgeous and historically important racer that took 2nd place at the race in 1979, and 1st place in 1981 and 1983. It's also one of the only race cars to ever be sponsored by Apple, Inc., though today it wears its Newman-era Hawaiian Tropic livery.
The Newman car belongs to Carolla now, and he promises he'll race it at Monterey in 2017. Given
